Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Booking Fee

A non-refundable booking fee of £75 is required to secure your appointment for any permanent makeup (PMU) treatment. This booking fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances and will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day.

Your appointment is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received. Ash Dormer reserves the right to release your appointment time if the booking fee is not paid within the agreed timeframe.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will result in the full treatment balance becoming due and payable.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours notice will retain the booking fee as a credit toward a rescheduled appointment, provided the appointment is rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe.

3. No Shows

Failure to attend a booked appointment without any prior notice (a no-show) will result in the full treatment balance becoming immediately due and payable. No exceptions will be made.

4. Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to a change of mind, adverse reaction, or dissatisfaction with results. Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed (see section 5).

5. Results & Guarantees

Semi-permanent makeup results vary from person to person. Ash Dormer cannot guarantee specific outcomes as results are influenced by a number of factors outside of her control, including but not limited to skin type, skin condition, oiliness, lifestyle, sun exposure, aftercare compliance, and individual healing.

Ash Dormer will make every reasonable effort to achieve the best possible result, however no guarantee of a specific result can be given.

6. Perfecting Sessions

Where a perfecting (top-up) session is required following an initial treatment, this is charged at £75. The perfecting session must be booked and attended within the timeframe advised by Ash Dormer following your initial treatment. Perfecting sessions outside of this window or where an extended period has elapsed may be subject to full treatment pricing.

7. Eligibility & Contraindications

You must be 18 years of age or over to receive any PMU treatment. Proof of age may be requested.

The following conditions are contraindicated and treatments cannot be performed if you are:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Currently undergoing or recently completed cancer treatment (chemotherapy or radiotherapy)
• Currently taking or have recently taken Roaccutane (isotretinoin). A minimum of 12 months must have elapsed since completing a course of Roaccutane before treatment can be performed
• Taking blood thinning medication (including aspirin unless prescribed by a doctor)
• Suffering from any skin condition affecting the treatment area, including but not limited to eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea

This list is not exhaustive. It is your responsibility to disclose your full medical history, current medications, supplements, and any known skin conditions or allergies prior to treatment. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect your results and your safety.

8. Medical Disclosure

You agree to disclose all relevant medical history, current and recent medication, supplements, and any known allergies or skin sensitivities prior to your treatment. Ash Dormer reserves the right to refuse treatment where full disclosure has not been provided or where treatment is deemed unsuitable.

9. Liability

Ash Dormer will not be held liable for any adverse effects, reactions, or outcomes following treatment where full and accurate medical disclosure was not provided, where aftercare instructions were not followed, or where results have been affected by factors outside of Ash Dormer's control.

Ash Dormer carries full professional liability insurance. In the event of a genuine adverse reaction, you should contact Ash Dormer directly in the first instance.

10. Aftercare

Aftercare instructions will be provided prior to and on the day of your treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions. Non-compliance with aftercare may affect your results and will not be grounds for a refund or complimentary repeat treatment.

11. Photography

Ash Dormer may take photographs of your results for portfolio and marketing purposes. You will be asked for your consent prior to any photographs being taken. You may withdraw consent at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

Ash Dormer reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The current version will always be available at ashdormer.com. Continued use of the booking service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

This Privacy Policy explains how Ash Dormer ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

• To carry out a consultation and assess suitability for treatment

4. Legal Basis for Processing

I process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (your booking), compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests. Health data is processed on the basis of explicit consent provided during your consultation.

5. How Long I Keep Your Data

Client records including medical history and treatment notes are retained for a minimum of 7 years in line with professional practice standards. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to any overriding legal obligations.

6. Sharing Your Data

I do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with booking platform providers (currently Fresha) solely for the purpose of managing your appointment. These providers operate under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please get in touch via ash@ashdormer.com.

8. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any tracking technology.

9. Changes to This Policy
