Terms and Conditions for Semi-Permanent Makeup and other Brow/Lash Services
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of semi-permanent makeup services offered by Ash Dormer, located at Cedar Avenue, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP15 7AW (hereinafter referred to as "the Artist" or "we"). By booking a service, you (the "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Appointments
Appointments must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. A non-refundable booking fee (amount depending on the treatment) is required to secure your appointment. The balance will be due on the day of the appointment if it has not already been settled.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Changes to a booking are allowed only once. Clients must provide at least 72 hours' notice for any rescheduling requests, or the booking fee will be forfeited. If you fail to show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full treatment price. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment may require full payment before rebooking.
4. Service Description
The Artist provides semi-permanent makeup services as described on www.ashdormer.com and during the consultation.
5. Client Consent and Medical Considerations Clients must disclose any medical conditions or allergies that may affect the treatment. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before any semi-permanent makeup or brow/lash maintenance treatment. Even if no reaction occurs from the patch test, a reaction may still occur at the time of treatment, for which the Artist cannot be held responsible.
The Artist reserves the right to decline services if a doctor's documentation is required but not provided. Clients must not be pregnant at the time of treatment and must wait at least 12 weeks post-pregnancy and breastfeeding before receiving treatment. No refunds will be issued if a client becomes pregnant between both treatment sessions.
6. Age Restrictions
Clients must be 18 years or older to receive semi-permanent makeup services.
7. Aftercare Clients must follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure the best results and minimize the risk of complications. This includes avoiding sun exposure, sunbeds, heavy exercise, and water contact for at least two weeks post-treatment. The treated area may peel; clients must not pick at the area. Please use only the ointment (if given) to aid the healing process.
8. Results and Touch-ups Results may vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare instructions. A touch-up session, if required, is typically scheduled 4-8 weeks after the initial appointment at a cost of £75. If a third session is needed, an additional cover charge of £75 will apply, and the appointment must take place within three months of the initial touch-up. The Artist is not responsible for offering a third treatment free of charge.
9. Liability
The Artist is not liable for any unforeseen results or complications that may arise post-treatment. All skin types react differently, and the longevity of results may vary. No refunds will be issued at any point, even if the client is unhappy with the outcome of the service.
10. Privacy and Data Usage
Personal data provided will be stored securely and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Medical documentation will be filled out on the day of treatment and stored securely. By claiming a voucher and entering lead form information, you consent to Ash Dormer contacting you via email, calls, and texts. 11. Prior Semi-Permanent Makeup Work
Clients who have previously had semi-permanent makeup done must send a clear photo before booking. The Artist reserves the right to refuse treatment if the previous work cannot be corrected or covered.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Ash Dormer reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and Great Britain.
